“…the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him,” Exodus 32:1
Our family enjoys playing Skyjo and no one more so than my youngest. I think one of the reasons he enjoys it, is that he often wins. Despite his propensity to win, any time he looks behind or distracted other people at the table give him advice. I never thought much about it until one night after he won several hands, he got behind. Another player, who had not yet won a single hand, started advising him on which cards to flip over and replace. Neither that individual nor he won and I paused to think, why was he taking advice from this person?
Do you ever think about the sources from which you accept (or don’t accept) advice?
