While it may be work, it’s not about the hustle…

While it may make me an outlier, I hate this meme! It’s specious!

It wasn’t the Israelites ‘hustle’ that freed them from the Egyptians; it was their willingness to submit to a higher power. A crackheads hustle is not evidence of superior work ethic; they have succumbed to the bonds of addiction. Most often, people who are struggling due to their ‘lack of hustle’ are likely bound by something else or just not interested in that thing they should be hustling for.

Exodus 19: 5-6, “Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: (6) And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation…”

The three top reasons why the accompanying meme is sending the wrong message:
1. The ends don’t justify the means!
2. Consistently making poor choices results in poor outcomes; no matter how hard you go about it.
3. Hard work is not the end all be all virtue.

While it may be work to follow God’s will, it’s not about the hustle…

Together with everything which appears to be developing throughout this specific area, a significant percentage of viewpoints tend to be relatively radical. Nevertheless, I am sorry, but I do not subscribe to your entire strategy, all be it radical none the less. It would seem to us that your comments are actually not totally justified and in simple fact you are your self not really completely convinced of your argument. In any case I did take pleasure in looking at it.
